green flash?

Speaking of sunset views.....has anyone witnessed a "green flash"?

yes, but it was from one of the small cays in the Turks and Caicos. Never in the VI's.

Yes...only once. It was on Kaui, right before a spectacular sunrise. Luckily my husband was with me that particular morning or I would be second guessing that I actually saw it.

Never. I would like to though. Does anyone know, do you have to be in a location where you can actually see the sun dip below the horizon line to see the flash? Someplace without any other islands/cays to obstruct your view of the ocean horizon?

I gave up looking for it.While eating at Compass Point, in Nassua, with my back to it, I explained to my wife why everyone was watching the sunset.Everyone's looking for the 'Green Flash'.

She claims that she saw it which I'm reminded of to this day.
