Am I lucky or what?

Post by Xislandgirl »

Long story short:

I am on another message board and I was complaining that I have enough miles for a coach flight but my travel dates are blocked. A member of the board (she is local and I have met her several times) has a ridiculous amount of miles that she will not use because she has a little one at home and another on the way.
She just bought my first class ticket for me with her miles. :D

I like this whole message board community thing!

I am lucky she lives about 2 hours away.

I am going to send them a GC to their favorite restaurant and I will hit up STJ kids for a nice gift for the little ones.

X, that is wonderful! There's not enough of this kind of thing in the "news"- it's far too easy to forget that there are some super nice people in the world.
Things like this, all the great people I met on my trip, etc. are proof.

I was completely shocked when she offered. It was so nice of her to do and I promise that I will pay it forward as soon as the opportunity arises.

There are so many good people in the world and I firmly believe that if you are a good person, other good people will surround you.
(That is why I love it here!)

That's great news. What a nice thing to do. There are so many sad/horrible stories out there that when you hear something like this, it restores your faith in people.
