When I send a PM it stays in my OUTBOX and can take days if ever to go into my SENTBOX. Why is that? I am doing something wrong?

It doesn't go into the sent box till it is read

I think the message stays in your OUTBOX until it is picked up (opened) and read. Then it will go into your SENT BOX.

I think the answers you have received so far make sense (thanks everyone) - the sent/out issue actually has me confused too.

All true. Also, if the sender deletes it while it is still in his/her "outbox" (before you read it), it vanishes from your inbox. All good to know!
