Sea Stone Villa - Just back
We spent 10 wonderful days at Sea Stone Villa which is located between Chocolate Hole and Great Cruz Bay. The villa sits on a cliff about 100 feet above the ocean. The sounds of the waves crashing on the rocks was soooooo sweet.
Trip report in detail to come this weekend, just buried at work now trying to catch up after two weeks away.
If your looking for a nice Villa which is very quiet with the sounds of the waves at your footsteps you can't beat Sea Stone. Fantastic breezes. Very few lights in the evening in the area made for great star watching. Just what the doctor ordered.
We got so laid back we completely lost track of what day it was. We packed all of our stuff up, returned the rental car and went down to the ferry before we finally figured out we had one more day in paradise remaining. (no drugs and only limited quantities of alcohol were involved in that screw up). Honestly it ended up being a great treat. We went back to the house and had one more free day ! It was the best day of the trip. Just an unexpected pleasure. Even if it was a tad silly.
Now, back to the engine room.

Captain Scott...
You must have followed us right after 8-day stay at Sea Stone! (We were there June 4-12) Wasn't it a wonderfully relaxing experience??
Did you have much run-ins with the resident iguanas?. I have a funny pic of Henry (my name for the largest "Big Kahuna" iguana), while I am in the lap pool.
Some of our favorite times spent were sipping pina coladas and painkillers in the blue chairs by the cliff at sunset, and just chilling and listening to good music in the patio/lanai area.
Anyhow, it sounds like you enjoyed your Sea Stone vacation as much as my husband and I did !! Looking forward to your trip report

We had iguanas everywhere while at Sea Stone. On the day we left it was like they knew we were leaving and they came out in force on the patio and lounge chairs and staked their claim to their territory.
Those suckers are fast when they swim in the pool.
I'm pretty sure someone else on the forum is at Sea Stone now but I can't remember exactly who. Like you said, it is a great place.

How funny about your extra day – but a nice surprise. My wife and I were in the Cayman’s a few years back and when we landed – I took off my watch. She asked me how we will know what time to do stuff. I told her, we eat when we’re hungry – sleep when we’re tired – and do what we want to do whenever. Looking forward to your trip report.

It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.
