Terri and I will be flying Spirit Air in August to St John from Chicago. What is the deal with luggage? do you have to pay for lufggage or is the first checked bag free?

it depends on when you bought your ticket but after a certain date all luggage is $10 per bag. checked luggage that is.

I think they are charging now for checked luggage and I believe the fee is 10 bucks. Still well worth it if u get a good price on the tix!

Even more worth it if you get your luggage! I wonder what they do about the $10 fee if they lose your luggage?
