Infusions Lounge -NEW!

Post by StJohnRuth »

There's a new place I've been meaning to write about...I mentioned it to Mary Beth and then saw the schedule so I figured I'd go ahead and post this.

Infusions serves infused martinis, some desserts, coffee, espressos etc.
It's air-conditioned and they have some fun activities scheduled.

That's where the old Oscar's(?) usta be, right? If so, I remember him saying once when I asked if he had any canned tuna... " No, I don't keep it any more - people keep buying meout..."

Oscar's

Post by StJohnRuth »

Yes, it is in Oscar's old spot. I forgot to say that.
He said that other times as well, I think he was joking, Joe. I've bought tuna there before!
I see him around sometimes and I always wonder what the heck he does now after having a business that you go to every single day of your life and then not, anymore. I know that sounds weird, but if you know me, you'd understand why I would think that. It just gets to be What You Do Every Day.
I now he liked to travel, I hope he and Mrs. Oscar are getting to have some fun travel time. They're both really nice people.

Oscar's

Post by StJohnRuth »

Oscar's was the little grocery store across from The Lime Inn and Pink Papaya.
Marcia, it's been so hot here, you could fry an egg. Honest.

Marcia, you should post your egg frying picture. It's so funny.

Charlie and I ... and Kenny  were in this place last night. The band was great and I really liked the place. It's very urban chic. reminds me a bit of a martini bar we frequent in Jersey. The drink menu is HUGE - really fun place if you ask me but certainly not your typical beach bar. I think the owners were going for a niche that doesn't already exist here. I hope it catches on. Talked with the guy quite a bit and he seems like a great guy. I really hope they make out well.

And again, Paradies People .. really fun night of music. I think thye are playing again while we are here. I'm sure we will be hitting this place again before we go.

Since the calendar on their web site will be kept updated, I am changing the link on my original post to this address as well.
