Cute Father's Day Story

Post by Tracy in WI »

This morning I was wrapping up Juice's Father's Day gift - a portable blender. I asked my 8 year old (Alex) what he was going to get his Dad and he asked me what a painkiller was. I wasn't sure where that came from, but since Juice just had hernia surgery and had been taking some pain medication, I figured he meant that and explained it a bit. He then says he's going to get his Dad a painkiller for Father's Day and gets out his USVI placemat with the Painkiller recipe printed right on it. He figured it would go nicely with the blender and help his Dad recover from the pain of the hernia surgery. Tonight we're going shopping for the ingredients. Very smart boy!

Oh what a sweet boy! Im sure Dad will really appreciate the liquid painkiller and the portable blender! My son's Dad is getting a fishing reel he hinted about in detail yesterday!

Just having my youngest son in the state will be all I need. I'll be in your neck of the woods Tracy he is shooting at lodi all next week with team USA. and if one of the boy's wants to make me a painkiller I won't turn it down.

Hubby is getting a trip to St John! We won't be there for Father's day but he is planning to pick out something while we are there.

What a great story. Isn't it amazing how quickly kids adapt to island life

My DF (dear father) and DH will celebrate Father's day on STJ ... Mimosas and Bloody Marys poolside to start the day!
