Fiance and I have been spending so much time planning our honeymoon to STJ that we are now down to the wire (t-4) and need your suggestions in choosing our wedding songs.
Can't wait to hear what everyone used.

Well, my reply isn't too far OT since my wife and I were married on Honeymoon Beach in January of 2000. Although it was very informal, we hired a guitarist (Greg Kinslow) and a female singer whose name I have now forgotten. To start the ceremony they played "Looking Forward", a Neil Young tune. Midway through came "Fields of Gold" and after we were pronounced husband and wife, "Faith in Me" by Stephen Stills. A little later during the food and champagne portion of the afternoon, we had a couple of guys on steel pan and electric guitar. Don't recall ecactly what they played, but it was awesome...

If it works for your story: "At Last" by Etta James,
Natalie Coles " An everlasting love" great to dance to, The cover of "Somewhere over the rainbow/ Wonderful World" by Izzy Kamakawiwo'ole . So beautiful. It was our last song and all the guests spontaneoulsy made a circle around us as we danced it was huge group hug. I get a little choked up thinking about it now.
If your looking for some very appropriate words to say to you beloved check out "I carry your heart" by the poet ee cummings.

For Pete (Mr. Marcia):
This is way OT, but i just noticed your quote. A dear friend moved to Greenbay several years ago with her husband, a native cheese head ( his term not mine)and Emily then 4 years old. The females were born and bred New Yorkers! One morning about 3 months after they moved Emily awoke and exclaimed, "Mommy what's that smell?" to which my frined responed, like only a New Yorker can, "Emily my dear that is cow, get used to it".
Just thought I'd share

First Dance Song
We were married in 2000. Our first dance was to a Frank Sinatra song called "All The Way". There is also a duet version with Celine Dion singing. It was one of the most perfect moments in my life.
Here are the lyrics:
When somebody loves you
It's no good unless he loves you - all the way
Happy to be near you
When you need someone to cheer you - all the way
Taller than the tallest tree is
That's how it's got to feel
Deeper than the deep blue sea is
That's how deep it goes - if its real
When somebody needs you
It's no good unless he needs you - all the way
Through the good or lean years
And for all the in between years - come what may
Who know where the road will lead us
Only a fool would say
But if you'll let me love you
It's for sure I'm gonna love you - all the way, all the way
