Off Topic Completely-Music Videos on youtube
I hope no one is mad that this is so Off-topic.
The other night MaryBeth sent me an email regarding an upcoming James Taylor concert in Manchester, N.H. and I am so mad that I can't go. So I started looking up James Taylor on the internet to make myself feel better.
I discovered all these youtube concert clips that just blew my mind:

Does everyone else already know about all this cool stuff out there? You just go to Google, click on the "videos" folder and go wild.
From James Taylor, I went to Bruce Springsteen, Bonnie Raitt, a musician we don't mention here....I can't believe how much cool stuff is out there!
Here's one for JT and Betty, since it's Bonnie Raitt and Steely Dan.

Okay, one more than. This one had me crying over my garden burger at lunch. Get some tissue if you're a crybaby like I am. This is James with daughter Sally.

Hey Ruth and the rest of you James Taylor fans, I watch a video daily with my little daughter that features James Taylor singing with the Sesame Street gang. It's so cute. He has actually been on the show numerous times and did a couple songs for different episodes and videos. His daughter Sally's poems inspired the songs. He's not only a great artist but has a heart!!

They both (Steely Dan and Bonnie Raitt) played at Jazz Fest this year but on different weekends - would have loved to have seen that happen because frequently musicians will join each other's sets.StJohnRuth wrote:

p.s. Ruth (and Mary Beth - thanks for the new addiction)
Ruth, et al, thanks for the FYI on the YouTube music videos.
I have a friend in The Fray ("How to Save a Life"). Here's them covering The Beatle's "Fixing a Hole" that was recorded in London for the 40th anniversary of the recording of "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" with original engineers Geoff Emerick and Richard Lush.
