maho and concordia

It may be that I head to STJ in Sept by myself, since my friend lost her job and the other has disappeared.
Q has anyone stayed at Maho or Concordia?
I am on a very tight budget and I do not want to ask anyone on island to put me up.
I saw at Maho if you are one person it is only 60.00 a night. I love Maho and the area is great for me to head to Coral Bay as well.
Just wanted to see if anyone has stayed at either.

We stayed at the Maho studios 2 years ago. It was nice. Very tranquil, but I INSISTED on a shower hence the studio. Still when I figured out the price was the same as our split of the house that we moved to when the rest of the group arrived, I decided it was probably my first and last time at Maho.

Still if you don't need the private shower, the $60/night is pretty hard to beat. I would think it would be a good place to stay to meet others too.

I would take Concordia over Maho, given the choice. Another option I've considered is a single room at Tamarind Court.

I was looking at Concordia but they have nothing available that week in Sept........
Someone had mentioned Cinniamon Bay which I have stayed at but I love Maho..........
Right now I just have to budget and see what I can afford with air and jeep rental and accomnodations since I was not paying for accomodations b4 my buddy disappeared..........lol
