Jan, I'm totally enjoying your trip report and I just love hearing about Susie's wonder at seeing her feet through the water and seeing all the palm trees. How awesome of you all to take her to paradise! Looking forward to more!

Jan,
My daughter was on the same flight out of DCA as your group! We met her in STT (the rest of us fly USAir through Charlotte) and took the 4:00 CA ferry. Our driver was savvy enough to drive downtown just to try to make the 4 CA ferry, and it was running! It wasn't even crowded. I am sorry that you got the wrong info and ended up with a big wait at Red Hook.

INfamily - I can't believe my luck! Although by the time we all got our luggage I don't think we could have made the 4pm CA. I'm sure the cab drivers would rather go to Red Hook, more money for them. But even a local checked with the ferry companies the day before and they said they don't run it on the weekend. Oh well, live and learn!

Thanks for the info though!

Great start to your report. The pool at Cocotier looks really nice.
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.
