2 months away from our first anniversary...

of the new system. I have some statistics to share:

Number of posts: 31,434
Posts per day: 103.29
Number of topics: 2,844
Topics per day: 9.34
Number of users: 969
Users per day: 3.18

Not bad - over 100 posts a day! Nearly 10 topics a day. We should hit 1,000 registered users soon too. A new version of this software is coming (once it is out of beta), which will have (GASP!) built in file uploads - meaning adding photos will be easier (of course you can always link to your existing photos on other sites like you do now too) as well as other new things.

As always - thanks for your participation. This place is nothing without all of you.

Congrats, Anthony. This is a well-run site, and I've never had a problem with your online store.

here's a feature I have been wishing we had. Is there any way to "save" our favorite posts so we can find them again later? I.E. a really good trip report, or RickG's post about posting photos.

Thank you so much for this site! I know that we all complained when the format changed, but it has become second nature now and I can not imagine not having this place to come to every day to escape from the everyday "doldrums"

Thanks again.

Ja, the current site software is much more intuitive for me. I think I had 14 posts over a couple of years on the old site. The biggest difference for me is in reading.

If we're listing new features, I'd like to be able to set preferred page length, images/no images, mobile style sheet that skips some of the heavier parts.

Thanks for keeping things up.

Cheers, RickG

Nice work on the site, Anthony. From what I've heard, not many message boards will allow for long posts with lots of pictures and I was worried about that when I posted my trip report, but it was fine!

Congratulations on the [almost] anniversary!

This forum is the best! Great people, great topics, great pictures, and sometimes, even good scuddle butt.

I'd like to add my kudos to Anthony for this site. I never imagined that I would be online and on this site so often. First thing I do in the morning is see what all of these wonderful people are up to now. If I'm home during the day I check it and when I get home it's the first page I go to, even before supper.
Thanks Anthony, you've given us a wonderful home.
