I too have NO problems. I use a Mac and view through Safari. Could it be in which browser you choose? ... just a thought?
Peace,

I use Safari, too, and still have the problem.

The Bermuda and Bahamas ads are Macromedia (now Adobe) Flash "movies", so I'm thinking that's the source of the problem and not the browser. I'm going to see if I have the latest Flash player installed. I've always hated Flash movies.

I use MSIE 6.0 on a PC.

RickG - Any ideas???

Update: I installed Version 9,0,28,0 (released on 4/12/07). I'm just waiting for the B&B ads to show up again to see if it works now, still showing Verizon.

2nd Update: I've seen 3 Flash ads on the right (Bermuda, Bahamas and Wynn/Las Vegas) and only the Bermuda one causes my browser to temporarily freeze. Thus, installing the latest Flash player does not get rid of the Bermuda ad problem.

On a related note, the La Quinta banner ad causes the page to be wider than the screen width, and all of the threads are compressed into a smaller "left to right" space...

I'm using Firefox on my linux box at work...

Hi everyone,
I just emailed the people serving the ad and asked for the Bermuda ad to be taken out of the loop on Virgin-Islands-On-Line - it may take a day or two - sorry.
Right now Travel Ad Network is our best paying ad network so I have to play with them, but I always try to keep it as friendly as possible here on the forum.
As for that issue some of you are having, it is a Flash ad, and it can be a bunch of things, including your system, your version of Flash, memory leaks, number of windows/programs running, caching issues, a poorly written Flash ad, conflicting ads/javascript, etc. It really is too numerous to try and troubleshoot. Again - I am sorry for those of you that experienced problems!

Anthony, you rock. Thank you. I hated to even bring this up but it was kind of (okay, really) annoying.
