Over to the Baths and Soggy Dollar

Post by snorkelqueen »

Hi everyone...we will be on island from July 7-21 and will be joined by our 30 year old kids part of the time. We would like to take them over to the Baths and to Soggy Dollar. Any suggestions? Many of the day sails we've taken on previous visits have lots of stops and we really just want to spend time in just these two places. We'd be willing to share a charter (there will be 5 or 6 of us). Thanks for any information....Look for us on the beach or at Woody's - we're the older couple with great tans

Hey there,

You could rent a power boat, with or without a captain for the day from either Nauti Nymph or Ocean Runners (both have websites but I'm too lazy right now to search them :) ) and they will take you to the exact spots you want to go - maybe you could snorkel the Indians first, visit Sandy Spit (just to say you have been there :) ) lunch at Foxy's and then end at Soggy Dollar - sure be a fun day :)

Oh I forgot - you could also do Lion in da Sun as I believe he only holds 6 I thinks and again go only where you want to :)

Great! I'd forgotten about Ocean Runners...we've rented from them before and having a captain is a great idea if we plan to stop at Soggy Dollar (Painkillers and boat driving don't mix)
Thanks again

I think their price is comparable to just renting a boat without captain at OceanRunner. Last I heard they charge $475 with captain a day, I hope that is still accurate :)

We went with Flyaway Charters 2 years ago. I think the boat held 5-6. will take you anywhere you want.
