Caneel Bay Access to Honeymoon Beach

Can you still access Honeymoon Beach through Caneel Bay Resort when the resort is closed?

I have never been there personally when Caneel is closed but I think you can still pay and park for beach access.

I know you can park outside the gate and walk in. I am not sure about the paid parking.

Where is parking prior to the gate? I thought Parking was past the gate in by the left.
