They are working on the building. I think they took it down. They closed in the stairs at the front of the building and replenished the sand. Also putting in rinsing showers. I'm afraid of what might be coming. Supposedly they are just doing a bit of refurbishment (which it needed)-hopefully that is all.

Hopefully with the refurbishment comes a NEW tire swing... last summer's tire was pretty flat!

Thanks for the Gibney pic! During our last visit, we headed down the hill to find a dozen tents. Sleepover with island youngsters. Maybe the refurbishment is meant for community events like that.

I like the limited parking, hopefully it stays that way. We were there 2 months ago and it seems like more boats were mooring and dropping in so the beach was more full than usual.

The tree is sitting way too low to accomodate it.
