Hot!!!
Whew! The Earthcam says it feels like it's 106.2 degrees on St. John right now. I'd be in the water on Francis Bay with my Forum coolie and a cold beer. Anyone want to join me!?

I don't understand the 106 degrees thing at all. The thermometer must be directly in the sun! It's hotter than it has been all winter, but this is nothin' yet.
We are in A/C all day, and at a certain point of the year we start turning the A/C on as soon as we get home. We do that every single evening from around June-ish until October-ish. We have not yet turned it on once, but are OK so far with ceiling fans. (The electric bill at least doubles once we start flicking that A/C on every evening.) Of course, since we live here, we're used to it, but I have to say that in relative terms, the heat isn't that bad yet, at least at night. During the day, it does feel awfully good to walk into the A/C from outside, but we're at work and don't have the option of jumping in the ocean or the pool....

I keep repeating myself.....July and August are REALLY Hot!! I would never go there without full ac. I don't care where the villa is and what kind of breeze it has. Hot is hot, and sometimes there is NO breeze. IMHO of course. I live in Houston and it's never as hot in STJ as Houston, but close. We live in ac (and pay thru the $ss for it). I'd rather starve than sweat to death.
