Resort ? & ID ?

Post by Cherokeeangel »

Ive been trying to get recent info on Wyndham Sugar Bay resort on other forums and I cant seem to get any. I know it was remodeled a short time ago. My family and I are leaving for STT on June 10 and I want to know how the place is? Reviews for the place before remodeling arent very good. Has anyone gone since then? Also I know we dont need passports just photo ID and raised birth certificate. but what about or kids? ( 11,13,14,14,) do they need the photo ID also or will birth record work? and do we have to carry these items with us while on STT we might also travel over to STJ & STX. sorry about all the ?? but as i said I cant seem to get any answers on the other forums..

The only question I can answer is the one about ID for kids. They only need their birth certificate unless you are going to BVI's...then they will need a passport. We will be first timers on STJ next month. Have a great time!

You don't need a passport to go to the BVI's if you are going by boat till Jan 2008

Hi, We stayed at Wyndham Sugar Bay in Oct 2005. They were in the process of remodeling then. I don't kow if we had an updated room or not. We stayed in D building which was Ocean view. I know people in other buidling complained about the view (some rooms are looking at the pool area or other buildings) Building B, C & D seemed to have the best views. I thought our room was clean and I didn't have any problem with the decor. Don't expect the Ritz- that it is not. If you are doing the all inclusive it helps to tip a little. I would stay there again. We had a great time enjoyed the pools, bars, spa, iguanas and went on some excursions.
When will I see St John again?

Waterguy you are right, I was wrong. I just checked the State Dept website. Any boat or ferry... does not require a passport to travel to the BVI's intil 01/08.
