Too funny - the VI's are in my subconscious!!
So I just had to share this with you, my brethren in addiction....
Yesterday I had to have a "female" outpatient procedure done. They have me this (great
) amnesiac type of drug given to me, in addition to Demerol. At any rate, I remember they asked me to get up off the table to which I replied "aren't we going to do the procedure?" Well, they had already completed it! Apparently they said I was chatting incessantly about our upcoming vacation, how much I love STT and STJ, the great beaches, snokeling, clear water, how you can island hop with a fairly inexpensive ferry ride, how wonderful the Baths are - - and ON and ON and ON.
Weird! I guess of all things for me to blather on about, the VI's are a harmless enough topic (and not so embarrassing
). SO, there you go, I am a true addict....

I work in the Pre-op/Recovery Room of a local hospital. Yes, we give some very good drugs. The primary amnesiac that we give is called Versed. You might be awake and talking, but not remember a thing. Most people wake up and can't believe that the procedure is over
.

Going "home" again October 26th!
