Operation:"Stop the fish worm"
Operation:"Stop the fish worm"
I have noticed that there have been a few nekkid guys at Soloman lately.Do you think that if you could call a National Park Ranger on a cell phone that they would come out to the beach and ticket nekkid guy?We could call it Operation-Stop The Fish Worm!

I don't mind seeing nekkid or being nekkid. If someone has enough confindence to rock their "nekkidness," more power to them. If it bothers you or others then I agree, just choose a different beach. I do understand that it's technically "illegal" to sunbathe nude in the VI but I'm not the ranger and as long as they're doing their own thing and not bothering anyone, it doesn't bother me in the least.
Its funny how we Americans can get uptight about nudity. Talked to a few people while there and mentioned Solomon and the nudy thing was the first thing that came up from them you could tell it bothered them. I personnally don't have a problem with it. When we were in Orient Beach St. Martin its clothing optional, we mixed with the nudys no problem It is kind of funny when your talking to one cause you really have to try hard to keep eye contact.Defenetly a cool experience hope to get back someday but I don't know if I can go anywere but St. John anymore.
I'm with you!!!!!chrisn wrote:I don't mind seeing nekkid or being nekkid. If someone has enough confindence to rock their "nekkidness," more power to them. Good one Augie!
We've never encountered any nekkid people at Solomon.
We did share the beach at Spring Bay on VG with a nekkid guy last year. A couple of years ago, we were at Maho when a small group of twenty-somethings showed up and stripped nekkid and put on suits.
This is supposedly a family beach, I think they were after the shock value and attention.

I just don't understand the twitter twitter about nudity at Solomon or anywhere else for that matter. I total agree with cptnkirk. Americans are so weird about this whole thing. I'd rather be around a bunch of totally cool naked peeps than a bunch of uptight clothed peeps. We've all got the same stuff so what's the big deal??? Live and let live for crying out loud. Sheesh.
