Posted a trip report for Virgin Gorda
Hi!
Anthony asked me to post my trip report about the Virgn Gorda week (the week after we were in STJ) on the BVI forum. So now I have done that.
If anyone is interested it's here:

I'll be happy to answer any questions I can, should you decided to cheat a little on STJ and visit VG for a day or longer

b_as_u_r, yes it was scary.
He was not at the bottom, and was actually swimming like a shark
under the surface in shallow water, obviously looking for food. He was also rather large, 6-7ft.
I was already outside my comfort zone and had asked ny husband that we should go back two times, when this happen. And as I said, I have now seen at least three sharks when diving (one Caribbean reef shark) but not at all felt scared. Strange! I should maybe dive more than snorkel.

RickG, you would sleep very good on Virgin Gorda, I believe.
I have a hard time thinking that those who love STJ would not like VG. Maybe someone would think it's too laid back and not that many great restaurants or not that much to do. It's less commercial but on the other hand, it's also less expensive.
The boulders at the south part are also very uniqe and very cool. Every house at Guavaberry seems to have a big rock just beside and there is a great Italian restaurant named The Rock Café that is nestled among the boulders.
One week at each island, was actually a very good combination. For us it felt like we had much more time at VG, but I do think that was becuase we had no "start-up time" where we have to find our way around the island. In VG we just jumped right into vacation.
PA Girl - I understand. You could fly in to Tortola, and from there it's just a short ferry ride. But then you have to connect in San Juan. Anyway - VG is worth waiting for if you ask me.
