Server issues

We had a server issue this morning after some patch upgrades. Still not sure exactly what happened, as the error has now disappeared with the forum running (I had a similar issue earlier this year, that is why the forum was turned "off" - so all the other websites on this server would run).

Anyway - I was away and unable to fix this without being at a computer, only got so far on my phone. Things appear to be okay for the moment - but I need some more troubleshooting and testing to figure out the root cause.

And PS - thanks to the reliable forum members who emailed me about the issue, but I finally also have a monitoring agent installed that sends me text messages - so for once I knew first - I was just sleeping (the problem started at 6 AM)!

We probably don't tell you thanks enough for what you do. I know we and a lot of others use this site to relive, share, and plan for island memories. To put it mildly we are addicted to the site.

I would also like to thank you for everything you do! With the Forum "down" yesterday, it really helped me to understand how much I enjoy checking in and reading what has been posted, contributing when I can and checking to see who is on-island. It helps me to pass the days waiting for my next trip. Guess I'd better get a ticker and get on the calendar for my November trip. . . . . Soon come!
