Pools @ villas - who does daily maintenance?
We stay at Gallows and truthfully, have no desire (yet) to rent a villa. However, after looking at all of the gorgeous villa photos and their pools, I was wondering, who does the daily maintenance of them - vacuuming & chlorine checking, etc.?
Thanks

You do..............seriously
The villa management company will have the pool cleaned and chemicals balanced before you check in. Most pools have a net that you can use to scoop out any floating items. Past experience has shown that the pool stays clean & balanced all week.
That's our experience, but we've only rented through Caribbean Villas...........maybe other management companies handle it different. Will be anxious to hear from others and their experience.

we did the skimming when necessary, which wasn't often and once during our stay Paco from Carefree called to see if we were around that day and we weren't so he came in while we were out and checked on the chemicals.
It's not a big deal really. If any problems came up I wouldn't have hesitated to call them to come check it out.

I remember a person stopping by once during the week when we rented from Catered To and Vacation Vistas to check the mechanics and levels. No skimming.
One rental had lots of trees, flowers, etc. and the pool was littered with stuff every day. It wasn't a big deal to me and hubs but one of the couples was put out by the fact that we didn't have daily service to clean out the pool.
I don't think we had one leaf the entire week when staying over in the Maria Bluff area.

Renals Response
here is the offical response from Vivacations.....
"The pool is already on a service schedule-it's also checked prior to your stay. The only thing you'd probably be required to do is to skim the leaves off with the skimmer if there are leaves. Other than that, you're all set."
