How soon for ZoZo's reservations

Post by KTinTX »

Will be on island in less than 4 weeks and gave always enjoyed an evening at ZoZo's, but have never made reservations until we were on island. With the move to Caneel, do we need to make reservations before we arrive n a few weeks?

Thanks!

It would be a good idea, they take reservations up to 30 days ahead.. FYI - They close on Sundays during summer..

ZoZo's has been doing a booming business in the new location. We waited until we got on island and couldn't get exactly what we wanted - and we were staying at Caneel. I'd definitely make them ahead of time.

I have always made reservations at Zozo's at 30 days out (both at the bar at Gallows and then more recently this past Dec. at Caneel for a table on the rail). Will be back at Zozo's in exactly 7 days to celebrate our 30th anniversary!

We are also staying on Caneel (here now and loving it!) and tried to make a reservation 5 days before we arrived. We were able to get a reservation, but only for a time earlier than we would have liked. On Sat evening after eating there, we tried to make a reservation for Mon night and they just had one time slot open. We were able to get the time we wanted on Tues night instead. They are doing a booming business. We loved our meal, the service and the location - everything was excellent. So...with all that said, I would make a reservation as soon as possible.

I have been told that the old policy of not being able to make a reservation until 30 days out is no longer in effect since they moved to Caneel and in fact they are almost sold out for Christmas already - again I have not confirmed.

We have never eaten at ZoZo's ...but really wanted to on this upcoming trip. Never thought about making reservations so far out. But sounds like I better get on it. We also will be there in about 4 weeks...is there any one day that is better than another? Like ...like special dishes on certains days ? Can reservations be made online or just by phone?

Thanks all... :)

We made ours 30 days out, I did it all online/email from their website. If nothing else make a tentative one now. It was full for sunset the night we were there.

Zozo's is the one restaurant that I was really looking forward to going to this October, but I just realized that we will be on island during the period when Caneel is closed. Will Zozo's be closed too??

I just called Zozo's to check on their reservation policy. They accept reservations up to 30 days out via their website (email) or by phone. They are not yet accepting reservations for Thanksgiving or Christmas but if you plan to dine with them during that time I'd mark your calendar now so you don't forget. We had dinner at Zozo's last week and loved it. We can't wait to go back.

Thanks for all the info. I knew I'd get what I needed here. This will be our 3rd or 4th visit to Zozo's, but first since the move. I contacted them today for a reservation on the rail during our upcoming trip. Can't wait to see the new place.

That is great to know - I was told they were "sold out" for Christmas by a restaurant employee at Caneel - good to know not true.

I emailed and got a reservation for one night of our trip as well. To get a table at the rail, or outer rim as they referred to it, I had to take 6:00pm . That's just fine with me. Couldn't believe how quickly they answered my request ! WOW that is good service already. :D Now on to getting a reservation at Aqua Bistro for a night ...and we're set.

Thanks :)

Same here phibetm. 6:00 p.m. To guarantee a "rail". We will plan on a cocktail and appetizer before ordering wine and entrees in order to enjoy the whole sunset time period m
