Sad day in bean town

Post by StJohnbum »

Well maybe not bean town but a very sad day for us in Coral Bay. Our go to Villa, Casa Tua, has been sold and the new owners are going to live there full-time so it is coming off the rental market. Great for the new owners but depressing for us. We loved the location right on the water and the views and breezes were stellar. The previous owner had even promised 2 free nights on our next stay since we were such frequent guests. Oh well all good things come to an end. Time to get busy finding a new favorite place.

oh noooooo! Sad here in Beantown too :(

Casa Tua was our favorite villa!! We stayed there for the first time when it was close to brand new, and have been back many times since.

We had reserved Casa Tua for our upcoming trip (leaving for STJ this weekend) but it was cancelled a couple of months ago for the reason StJohnbum mentioned. We were a little shell-shocked.

We stayed at Casa Tua last year and truly loved it. It's very disappointing that the house is no longer available for rent but we feel fortunate to have experienced the property before it was taken off the market. The place was really unique.

Anyway, good thing is that we will be on island soon. Oh… and yes, we do have a villa to stay in. :)

when we finish our renovations our house will be available and near to casa tua-- though not right on the water we do have right of way access to Friis bay across the street. (if you wanted to be out in that general vicinity...)
< leaving on the 22nd of march...but too lame to figure out the ticker thing again!>
