your daughter comes into the family room sobbing, saying "I don't want to go home!!!"

She's 17, and one quarter away from graduation and attending college down at the beach. But she brought Dad to tears by saying how great this trip was.

Yep, my college senior did the same thing two weeks ago. It's the kind of place that really gets to you.

Our upcoming trip was planned for our 17 year old daughter who is graduating and planning to move far from home. What you experienced with your children is exactly what I am hoping for. Thanks for sharing.

Very cool! That is how I got my start with my Mom and Step-father almost 20 years ago. It has never and will never leave me. It is in my soul for sure!

oh wow-- our next trip is with my about to graduate senior! however, given the state of where we are staying....she might be running for the airport...but i hope not!
