Keksie's Trip Part 2
Keksie's Trip Part 2
Day 2:
First we headed for breakfast at Baked in the Sun and then got provisions at Star Fish Market. We planned on breakfast at the condo, snacks and some lunches there also. I didn't plan on cooking any dinners at the condo. After putting everything away we snorkeled at the condo. Lots of fish and it was so nice to be in the water again. After lunch at the condo we walked to Lind Point Trail to go to Honeymoon. About half way there my husband was beginning to wonder what kind of vacation I had gotten him into. The water was wonderful after the hike and we saw a turtle, nurse shark and a sting ray along with lots of different fish. When we snorkel we usually go out for an hour come back for a rest and go out again for another hour. For some reason the walk back seemed shorter and cooler and my husband didn't mind the walk at all after seeing the variety of fish and the beautiful beach. After we cleaned up we walked back to the Beach Bar for drinks and dinner. Yummy Bushwacker's. We are morning people and with it getting light so early we got up between 6-7 each day. Because we get up so early and with all the activity we were not night owls.

Day 3:
Time to see the island. We took the north shore road to Coral Bay. We drove to East End and stopped by Vie's for a snack. We then headed to Ms. Lucy's for a great lunch. Then it was on to Salt Pond for snorkeling. In between snorkeling we walked over to Drunk Bay. I hadn't been to Drunk Bay before and it was so much fun to find all the creations. Lots of fish and a big sting ray at Salt Pond. We took Centerline Road back. We would have stopped at the yogurt stand but the mosquitoes were terrible there. Dinner was at the Lime Inn for all you can eat shrimp.

Gallows Point
We stayed in unit 13B. It is a lower harbor unit. The unit was in good shape. I really like Gallows with the short walk to town, the pool, hot tub and snorkeling right there. The harbor noise didn't bother me, but the noise from town at night bothered my husband. Next time we may stay further toward the center of the property and get an upper.
