The old Zozos....

Post by BAILEYBAY »

Dinner at the bar was one of our favorites. I haven't heard too much about the new Ocean 362. Anyone have any comments...good or bad?

We have only eaten there once... this past December. We really enjoyed the food. We ate at a table - not at the bar (somehow it just wouldn't be the same as eating at the bar at the old Zozo's which we have done on several occasions). We were there on a somewhat slow night (actually, it was the night of the prom Dec. 14). Service was ok, but the food was excellent (Garlic Masala Shrimp and Cioppino as appy's, Malabar Shrimp Curry and Osso Bucco for entrees). Although we miss having Zozo's there (since we always stay at Gallows Point), glad Ocean 362 moved in (and Zozo's at Caneel is as good as always and the venue is beautiful). We will definitely return to Ocean 362 when we are back in early June. You may also want to check the ~60 reviews of Ocean 362 on TA.

We had dinner there twice on our week visit in February this year. We thought the food was excellent and our service was quite good. I am a vegetarian and have food allergies and the chef was very happy to make me special meals each night - I just reserved in advance and let them know. My husband ate off the menu and loved his food. We ate in the restaurant, not the bar. You won't be disappointed if you go there.
