Dog Day Afternoon

Post by jclampet »

The last time my wife and I were on Island, we took time to go to the St John Animal Care center and volunteered to walk the dogs. The experience was more satisfying than any happy hour we hit during our two week stay. Just a tip for any animal lovers out there heading to the rock...

...not to say its an either/or choice. We're fans of walking the dogs after an early happy hour. The dogs know where to go, we're responsible for picking up. It's a good time.

We adopted our island dog , Dawn , from the ACC Dec 2012 . It was the best decision we ever made & she's the best STJ keepsake :) !! We are staying at the STJ Inn for 3 nights before our villa so we will be extra close to take the dogs out for walks each morning . We usually do the Lind Point trail to tire the dogs out & it's great for us too . It's a win win situation !!!!
