Public Parking

Post by Barb Y »

Hi! I was wondering if it is safe to park a vehicle overnight in the public parking lot by the tennis courts. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks so much!

We parked there 3 nights while staying at Cruz Bay Boutique Hotel...no problems at all. And actually our Villa rental agent recommend it as well as the owner's of the Hotel. Would def use it again . :)

Thank you both for your help. We are going to be staying at Grande Bay but will have 2 vehicles and only one parking space. We figured we could park the second vehicle in the public lot after we returned from playing and then pick it up again in the morning. I just wanted to check on the safety. Thanks again!

We usually have a few evenings where we leave a jeep overnight in one of the public lots. never had a problem. Enjoy your trip! b.

We park their often short term and long term and never had any problems. It's my opinion that the 72 hour time limit has been a good thing as many folks were leaving cars that were for sale in the lot so they were easily seen. Since the 72 hour rule has been in effect, there always seems to be spots available.

This may sound completely ridiculous but when you talk about a 72 hr max that is consecutive right  I am assuming it is fine if we are taking it out to play every day and then returning it each night for a week. Thanks all!
