We have used Rachel to/from the airport and had a fairly good experience. We had some type of miscommunication one of the times and she wasn't at the airport to pick us up to take us to the ferry, but when we called, she came right over. On the way to the ferry, we went out of the way a bit to pick up a young man from school, then take him home, but it didn't cause us to miss the next RH ferry. When we came back from St John, she was right there to pick us up and go to the airport. There was another couple in the car, so it wasn't private, but we didn't mind at all.
Rachel is a very pleasant lady and we enjoyed chatting with her. Her vehicle was very nice too.
We use a private taxi because my husband can get motion sickness and wants to sit up front, or in the first row of seats behind the driver. Its harder to make that happen with the regular taxis. With the regular taxis, we've had some very pleasant and safe drivers, and we've had some unpleasant drivers, and some "hold on for dear life" drivers. So we spend the extra bucks and go with Rachel.
