private charter boat

Post by traceysj »

Hello

I'm sorry if this question has been asked to death, but what is your favorite boat/captain to take you on a private ride. We want a day trip in the BVI's. It will be this October.

Thanks!

We had a great time with Capt. Rick on the Stormy Petrol last week.

We sailed with Clark Beam on White Wing in April and we had an amazing time.

Definitely Captain Kevin on Born to Rhumb (borntorhumb.com). We've been out twice now with Kevin and had the best days ever!!!

Last week we went out with Capt. Phil on the Wayward Sailor and had an amazing day! His boat only holds 6 guests so you never feel like you're on a "cattle boat" and you get a lot of personal attention, and he has several options for different trips. I recommend him most highly!

We have been out with Capt. Phil 3 times and haven't been disappointed. Lots of personal attention, good food, not too crowded (after all, it's a sailboat, for cryin' out loud).

Oh, so much to choose from!! We're planning our trip the first week of December. I hope the boats aren't booked yet, I better hop to it!

Thanks everyone!

We went out with Capt Bob from TropiCat. It was wonderful. He has a power boat with a double hull and twin motors on the back. About 2/3 of it is shaded. You can rent it with or without the capt. We decided to rent with and were very happy as he showed us all around STJ, outer cays, etc. You could also go to the BVI as well. Whatever you want to do he will take you there.

You can contact him through Lisa at Vacation Vistas!

Highly, highly, highly recommended
