Best restaurants for large groups

Post by ImEricka »

Our group is beginning to look at restaurants for our trip and I wondered if anyone could help narrow down which restaurants seem to be able to easily accomodate larger groups. There are thirteen of us. 10 adults, 3 older teens. We will be going out at least two nights, one for a nice (not too fancy) celebration. When we go to happy hours and lunches we can sit at multiple tables, but for dinner, we would like to sit as a group.

Thanks for any help. :)

I often travel with large groups and have had dinner with 10-15 people. Zozos is always very accommodating and we once had a "private" room at Ocean Grill (the upstairs area) that was quite nice. We also had a big group at the Banana Deck and the Fish Trip, both of which are reasonably priced options. Even though you are going in the off season (May) with your group you may need reservations a few days in advance, but I believe most all of the restaurants will be able to make it work.

I agree that most places will be able to accommodate you as long as you make a reservation. In particular I've seen many large groups at Banana Deck, and several times at Rhumb Lines as well.

Thank you. Banana Deck has been on my "favorites" list. We will absolutely make reservations. Have a great day!

Banana Deck and Ocean Grill have both easily accomodated our groups from 12-18. The upstairs private balcony at Ocean Grill was great! Have a great time!

Banana Deck is a great choice! I would also consider Zero Sushi as a possibility. Call ahead to any you choose to give the staff a heads up.
