CT/MA/NY etc. Forum Get Together

Post by Xislandgirl »

I know that we have talked about thiis before, but I thought that I would try and revive the discussion.

1. Are you interested?
2. What city/state do you live in?
3. How far are you willing to travel?
4. Will you wear your Forum t-shirt?
5. Do you have a preference what we do?

I think this could be fun. I'd have to check with John though because I hate to drive. I think I'd rather do a picnic than Mohegan Sun. I don't know how to play any of the casino games, not even poker! I would definitely lose all of my money.

There is so much to do at the Casino that does not inviolve gambling. Great food, free shows, good shopping. Chip doesn't gamble at all and has no problem going to the casion with me

Can you tell I've never been there? :D I have nothing against gambling, BTW, I really just don't know how to play the games, and I find slots boring. I like watching other people play though, esp. the card games like poker and baccarat.

Knolmom(Rich and Mary) would love to come. We used to attend when they had them yearly some time ago. We live in Suffern NY and can travel anywhere in the tri-state area. I know you did not mention a date, but June 24 to 30 WOULD NOT be good for us, as we have family coming in to NY.

I am going to need a little help organizing this, so do I have any volunteers?
It looks like if we go to the casino, we can get a fairly large group, so I was thinking we can pick a day and all have dinner together ar Jasper White's and then we are all free to hang out and do whatever.

Any thoughts?
