9 grain bread .. YUM !

Post by PaminMaine »

On our trip this March we bought 9 grain bread. We purchased 1 loaf and could not remember from where.. Pine Peace or Starfish?? We asked at both places and no one seemed to know what we were talking about. LOL. It was delicious!

Has anyone had this yummy bread, and if so, where can we get it ??!

Starfish has had it and it is really good. You can also buy the bread freshly made at deli grotto that they use for most of their sandwiches for five dollars a loaf.

Thanks ! We could only find the 6 grain at Starfish , and they didn't know anything about the 9 grain. Maybe we asked the wrong person. Will definitely be checking it out when we go back.

Could it have been from Lily's in Coral Bay? They make some breads there and they are very good.

Pam, Since your in Maine I wanted to share my favorite bread bakery in Litchfield Me. The Black Crow Bakery http://blackcrowbread.com/ Best breads ever!! My favorites, the 7 grain, rye, peasant and *Apricot Almond*. All grains are freshly ground at the bakery on native granite stones (except unbleached white).
