Reading dreamshark's fun trip report this evening, her cool picture of a "blue beam" jogged my memory. Sci Fi? Aliens???

We saw similar blue rays at sunrise from Casa Bueno on Bordeaux Mt in 2009... Crepuscular Rays... much, much more common.
