Downtown Ferry

Do any of the locals know if the Downtown Ferry is running and what the schedule and cost is? I have friends cruising and will be there next Saturday and they want to visit STJ....We always go to Redhook, so I'm clueless about it...Thanks !!!

The 8:45 AM Red Hook to Downtown did not run on Saturday July 13. The lady selli g the tickets made it sound like this was not unusual. Plan accordingly for the 9AM to Red Hook just in case.

The 0845 did not run on Saturday June 22 either. Hubbo thinks it is a racket with the cab drivers so we are locked into the Red Hook ride from heck.

Getting into low season now and they usually discontinue it for about 2 months (at least in the past) - usually August and September and sometimes starting in late July after Carnival and sometimes not starting until late October - best to check on the day the taxi drivers will know if it is running
