who knows this animal???

Hi,
I do not know , how to put a picture or video here. I would like to find out what kind of wurm this is, red head black body with yellow stripes. Is this dangerous or even poisent ?

It sounds like you may be describing the frangipani caterpillar. Did you find it on a tree?

Can't help you with the pics but check out the pictures on the right side margin. There is a picture of a caterpillar that sounds like what you have described. It is a frangipani caterpillar and they can really devastate the leaves of a frangipani tree. We saw a tree by the sidewalk going up the Annaberg that we nearly devoid of leaves because of a few of them. Don't know about them being poisonous to humans but they can be toxic to birds according to Wikipedia.

google says the sap is poisonous to most animals and to human beiings. They do have no animals , thats what I thought , because of the bright colours????
