Reef safe sunscreen?

Post by lark22 »

Does anyone know if the Chelsea Drugstore (or anywhere else on STJ) carries reef safe sunscreen? I'd like to try to be more responsible on vacation -- we don't check bags, so I need to be able to buy on island.

Thanks! :)

Doubt it, your best bet would be a dive shop. I have never seen it retail and buy mine via the internet.

I believe they do along with Big Planet in Mongoose - whether it is in stock when you are here might be another issue although I believe Big Planet always has it.

Greetings from rainy and thundery St. John!

Chelsea does stock the reef safe sun products, they have a whole section of them in different spfs, and after sun also. I think I paid $15.95/ bottle (too lazy to walk upstairs and find out  )
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.
