Zozos - casual dress?

We want to have dinner at Zozos this year - after 4 trips, we've never made it there. Tried to get in last May, and it was booked for the entire evening when we called in the afternoon for a reservation. Can my husband wear nice shorts and a Hawaiian style shirt there? He doesn't like to bring (or wear!) long pants to STJ, if he doesn't have to.

Yes, nice shorts and that style shirt will be totally fine. My sort of formal husband wears similar (he has developed a Tommy Bahama "problem") or a regular polo shirt with shorts.

Depending when you are planning to go be advised that Zozo's is taking over the Sugar Mill at Caneel when Caneel reopens in the fall. Not sure exactly when it is closing at Gallow's but think it is very soon.

I think someone here said that they're closing July 27th and reopening in October in the new location.
