AA through Miami

After reading 54B's latest 'open letter' to Spirit Airlines (great reading for those that haven't seen it) I decided to check my AA flight for October. Glad I did. They moved me from a flight arriving STT at noon and changed me to one arriving at 8:40 PM...

I was able to get it changed so now I am going to JFK first, but it looks like they are reducing flights from Miami to Caribbean. My travel agent told me she has had to rebook several people on their way to Caribbean destinations through Miami.

If you have AA reservations, you may want to check.

PS: Although I am a AA member and they have my cell # and 2 email addresses, I received NO communication from them about this change...aarrgghh...

They had changed our flight out of ATL to MIA but we got an email notification...not a big deal for us...especially when we're paying less than 400 RT.

That is just aggravating. People make plans and buy tix on certain flights for a reason..I hate that they are doing that..Have for a while, but it's still frustrating..

Sounds like the mindset and customer service of US Air is already trickling in...no wait, I meant the lack of those things...
