9 weeks of living here- Eagle ray!!!

Yes indeed after living on the rock for nine weeks, I finally got my first eagle ray sighting!!!!! And what a beauty he was!! I was returning from the right side point of Maho, and started out a little towards the center and who shows up and allows me to accompany him for the next 10-15 minutes in his gracefully underwater journey, the most beautiful creature ever seen! Plus this dude had the longest tail I have ever seen. I am not exaggerating when I say , the tail was longer than me with fins on as I got down pretty close at one awesome moment. I am download pictures and video onto Picasso as I type so of some kind soul will talk me through the steps, I will try to post a pic or ten or a video link so I can share my luck!! Yippeeee!!!( I was only a little excited- ask Tracy in WI or FlipFlop!)

Very cool, congrats....a guy on the TA forum saw a couple over at Leinster yesterday and also mentioned one with a really long tail.

As I sit here experiencing my first WAPA blackout , I have tried to down load these pictures several times and have no idea why I can't do it! So Augie has a ton of them and access to all four videos so maybe he will kindly help out a doofus woman that he loves so others can appreciate the beauty of this gorgeous guy who lets play with him for fifteen glorious minutes!!
