Thank you Forumites

Post by EagleRayLover »

I just wanted to publicly thank you guys for including me on some of your island adventures! Last night I got to meet PSU fan and friends at their villa and just laugh and exchange stories!! On the past seven weeks of living here, i have met and/or gotten together with Vav, Trvljohn, jmq and Diana ( knew her from before!), nancie pa, Andrea , pickle, p600, tracy in wi ,news of St. John, Kevino, 54b, and Bug. I am sure I am forgetting people's forum names so forgive me if you are not included on this list!! bit you are definitely still in my heart!!
also I like knowing you're real names and I have even more to meet this weekend! Can't forget RickG, capt jay and mrs capt jay, and Notanlines either on my first night here but we are old friends by now!!
Names too!) I feel very lucky to have this extended family in you especially
since my family is not here yet.
I also need to put a special shout out to St. John Ruth and Ron as well as CaptJohn and Sue as they have extended themselves so sweet to me!! Betty has also been great!!
Thank you all- the forum really is a little family!! ( or cult depending your perspective!!)
PS - a lot of people ask if STJ loses its appeal
After living here? The answer for me- is despite some obstacles- not
One bit!

It was a pleasure meeting you and spending time with you. We had so much fun on Friday and can't thank you enough for that. We are still talking about Bill meeting a childhood neighbor at Tourist Trap. It's a small world when you run into someone who grew up on your street so far from home. I love reading about your new life in St John and all of your adventures.

Hopefully we can hook up in February.

And tell that hubby of yours to post more frequently to that blog!

Told him- we have lots of things to tell- that's for sure, but if there is anything specific you want to know, feel free to ask to and maybe we can generate a post specific to that!!

Appreciated that you came out to spend time with us the night before you were traveling to Florida. We treasure the fun memories and the friendship! I was awake early the next morning and saw your ferry taking off from Tracy's balcony. I even waved (I know no one was watching but I felt like it).

We wish you and Steve all the best.

P. S. I am really glad to read the P.S. part of your post.

Hey Leslie, glad I got to meet you, too. :D Had fun with you, Andrea and Bill at the Tourist Trap and Drunk Bay and enjoyed our drinks at Motu. Love your house in the woods, too. Have the deer been back?
I'm so glad you're doing well and can't wait till Steve is there with you. Hope to visit again next year. Till then, I'll see you on the forum (and Steve's blog!).
Friends, they go away then they re-appear...I believe there is Magic here.

Steve posted a new one today. I will be honest,
Some days if we write the day to day reports , they would be
A. Boring B. Quite Emotional C. You all would
Get sick of How Mushy lovey dovey we are or D.
All of the above. But we will try to be better!
