On Island June 12th-19th!

We're headed down Wednesday 6/12-19 and wanted to put a few ideas out to connect with others who will be there....

I'd like to invite folks over one night for a coctail hour to check out our Villa (DeBolina) and say hello, I'm going to PM those who I think might be interested but please send me a PM if you have any interest and we can exchance cell #s to connect on Island via txt...

If there are any hockey fans going down (or already there) who are planning to watch the Stanley cup games, send me a PM if you might be interested in watching a game or two together...I know some of the games are on NBC and some are on NBCSN, so I'm not sure if I'll get all the games at our villa....may need to meet some where else...any suggestions for sports bars where NHL is embraced?

Our kids are 14 (boy) and 11 (girl), so if you have kids similar ages send me a PM and maybe we can meet for a picnic or a swim one day, or something...

This is us (older boy won't be along this trip)...shout at us if you see us around the rock!

We will be on STJ June 13 - July 1st and staying at Drake's View.
We have a son who turns 16 while on STJ and a daughter 13.

Won't be back on island till August, sadly, but just wanted to let you know that last year we watched the NHL playoffs at the Fatty Crab. Not sure where else on island to suggest, but last year, at least, they were always on there (and you can watch while having the coconut cardamom panna cotta - my favorite St John dessert!)

Hi Sherban. We arrive on the 17th , so will miss most of your trip. Look for the two forty-something's wearing the VIOL wristbands and I will be the bald guy in the Texas A&M cap or hat. Our two teens aren't making the trip this year, so we are kidless for a whole week. Hope to see you.

Thanks for the info, the villa agent told me they use Innovative Cable, I don't think they'll have NBCSN so I'll probably go out on 6/15 and 6/17 to watch those games somewhere with Satellite or expanded cable...does anybody know where a good bet in Coral Bay might be for NHL...our villa agent said maybe Skinny Legs. Maybe we can get NBCSN on the iPad...a bit smaller screen than I'm used to...

Island time soon come...

Skinny Legs for sure will have them. We watched the games in there last month and even on movie night, they put one of the TV's to the game, without even being asked to.

...And the days I will try to avoid Honeymoon,Salomon, Trunk, and Cinnamon are the cruise ship days:
Wed-6/12, Mon-6/17, Tue-6/18 , these will be good days for Waterlemon, Leinster, Salt Pond & villa gravity!
