Island Dreams
Island Dreams
Hello St John fans. We will be staying in Island Dreams in Coral Bay in June. I'm so excited that it is hard to think of anything else. Has anyone stayed there in 2013? If so, i was wondering if there were any good rafts for the pool, the condition of beach chairs and a small or medium cooler?
We have been to St John about 10 times and we are thinking of taking the ferry to Jost for the first time. How early should we plan to be in Cruz Bay for the ferry and when does it return. Are there any days of the week that are best to avoid?
I would like to hike to Rams Head one morning. Any suggestions on how early to head out to avoid the heat in June?
Thanks so much.

Google St. John Interisland ferry, it will give you the times which are not the same everyday and most likely you will be dropped off first at Great Harbour then they will go over to the East End on Tortola to drop off people. On the return trip (at least they did this when we took it back in October) the ferry picked up Jost people first then picked up people in Tortola then on to St. John. I think the total cost was 75.00 round trip. I believe we left approximately 8:30 in the morning and we were back on STJ by 5. Have a great trip

Hubby and I stayed at Island Dreams in 2011....you are going to love it!!! It is a great house. We spent hours out on the porch taking in the view
.....everything was in great shape when we were there...but I know that was 2 years ago.
Have a great trip!

Re: Island Dreams
Sunny or anyone else that has stayed at Island Dreams, where are the steps located to the lower level of the house? Is it on the right hand side on the house? I would guess you need to go outside to get to the lower level, is this correct?
Thanks so much!
Thanks so much!
Re: Island Dreams
Well, you just ruined my wife's day. We're siting on our deck and looking at the forum and I read her your post. We stayed there last year and after 15 straight years of going to SJ, we're sitting this year out. It is killing her, but she'll get over it.
Island dream is a perfect villa and for 2 people it is all you need. We loved it and will go back there. The breeze was non-stop.not sure if that is normal but we had to close doors at night to cook. It made sitting outside like heaven. The stairs to the lower level are on both sides of the house. It has a small pool and I believe the put in a heater because it stayed cold. We usually stay at larger villas with our girls but we loved this villa so much they are probably on their own from now. You will not regret this choice.
