If there are any Peeps that will be soon arriving from Buffalo or Pittsburg (and then obviously flying back) on American Airlines
PLEASE contact Rhea at the STT Humane Society as we are desperately looking for escorts to transport a dog from our island "kill" shelter to new adoptive families in these cities.
It does not cost you anything, you will be met at the airport with the dog, they are then checked in and taken to the plane. Upon arrival at the destination airport you are met by the adoptive family - it is just they can not fly without a passenger who is actually on the plane
If you can help please call ASAP as the heat restriction comes into effect soon and then no animals can fly unless they fit under the seat in front of you.
