Maho Bay Question

With the camps now closing, does that affect the beach as well? I'm headed to St. John in a week!!! First time there, and first time snorkeling. I was planning on going to Maho first as I've heard its a good place for beginning snorkelers.

Although I don't want to step on any toes by trespassing. So, will the beach still be "open"?

Maho Bay is separate from the Maho Camps that recently closed. You will have no problems accessing the beach. I also agree that it is a great place to take beginner snorkelers. As you look at the water go to the rocks on the right.
