Live from the rock May19
Live from the rock May19
Hiking this morning. Started at Brown bay trailhead and went to Brown bay and brown bay ruins. I'm at the ruins above Leinster now. It is a spur off the Johnny Horn trail. Absolutely beautiful up here
Brown bay ruins Overlooking Leinster Mosquitos are in bloom!. Aarrgghh!!
Probably head down to Leinster now.

Great pics...if you're just hiking at an average pace, how long does it take to get from the Brown Bay trailhead over to those ruins right above Leinster? And is the trail well marked and easy to navigate...I know there are a couple of different ways you can go when you hit the Johnny Horn.
Brown Bay to Leinster is one of the items left on my perpetual "STJ Still To Do."
One more Q...would a jogger enjoy BB to Leinster? We have a pretty serious runner going with us in June and I thought she might like go from BB all the way to Annaberg because she wouldn't have to jog on the road.

It’s not about yesterday or tomorrow...It’s about today, for come what may – Sun, rain, or hurricane – we've only time for a smile, and none for sorrow

I hiked all the way from Brown Bay trailhead to brown Bay, explored the beach and ruins and went up to j. Horn trail and over and down to Leinster and back in about 3 hours. I stopped to take LOTS of pictures so you could do it faster. If your friend likes trail running it would be a great run. Saw 2 runners this morning on the trail. I actually recorded the trip using GPS in my phone I will let you know when I get it posted.
Now we are off to Skinnys for lunch

Yes it is. I enjoyed a delicious pbj sandwich just this morning at that table
Then I walked down to Leinster bay and then walked on the rocks to the point by waterlemon.
