8:45 a.m. flight home - doable?

We may switch to an 8:45 a.m. flight. Is this doable? It would be a Thursday morning and we would not have any luggage to check. Also, which ferry should we take?

It is doable - I have made the old AA 8:35am flight but I wouldn't leave any earlier (should anyone else be reading). You need to be on the 6am ferry to Red Hook

LOL @ above! The last TWO trips, I left us an extra day's leeway, to be bumped. And the last two trips are the ONLY two trips that none was offered. I'm always up for more time on island!

LOL Minde !
We flew out on a Sunday. Got to the airport in the required 2.5-3 hour pre flight time, only to find out that we were delayed by an hour. Forced to sit in the airport and look at the beautiful weather for 4 hours !!
There was a flight to NY that was overbooked and the vouchers ended up being 750/ each..!! I was keeping my fingers crossed for an offer on OUR flight, but no such luck. We had a layover in Atlanta , so I would have taken that offer in a flash!
