St. John - Watch Dealer - Jewels?

As my luck

would have it, my watch just officially died - it was a wedding gift from my husband 7 years ago from when we got married in St. Thomas. I'm considering getting a new one on our upcoming trip but don't want to spend the time in St Thomas other than on departure day and then don't want to be stressed out about looking for a watch. Does anyone have experience with Jewels at Mongoose Junction? How do prices compare to STT for Tag Heuer etc.? Thanks!

Not sure you will find a Tag dealer on STJ - you might but not sure how big of a selection you will find.

Jewels is now Little Switzerland. They have a really good selection of Tag Heuer Watches in both the Mongoose and Westin locations. When we bought a watch back in September the woman told us their prices are exactly the same as their stores in St. Thomas.

Last May, my husband bought a nice watch at Freebird near the ferry dock. Randy, Barbara and their employees are very friendly and helpful. My hubby has purchased several pieces of larimar jewelry for me over the years. He decided last year that it was his turn for a purchase there. He considered a number of different watches there, and took forever to make up his mind. Eventually Barbara made some suggestions, which helped him decide. He still enjoys it a lot. You may want to browse in there and see what you can find.
